Evening gents just wondered if any of you have come across such a thing when switch is pulled straight down its fine but when pulled at an angle trips power just wondered what your thoughts are

I think the clue is in the title. lolWhat do you mean trips power , Trips an MCB , Trips an RCD , what is it that trips ??

Had this years ago with MK....earth terminal in back box, was mounted to close to switched live. Turn 180 deg and all was ok....Tell tail, was the black arching on the earth terminal block.......worth checking for
OUch, if you are going to be doing fault finding a MFT with RCD ramp test is a must have, unlike a few packets of smokes, or a few nights down the pub, or a few take aways.Cheers will look for it and adjust. Ray galea newish to the game so got basic 1651b tester no Rcd ramp on it unfortunately
