Hi Guys,
I'm thoroughly disappointed in SAP as my software assumes the 3300kW PA usage (via OFGEM). It's even worse now the tariff has come down so much. The Energy Bill savings are so much more important now.
Most of the customers I have been seeing lately are using a LOT more than the 3300 that SAP uses, my own at home is 4700kWPA and I live in a small bungalow. The two most recent jobs we have installed had one customer using 5600 and another using 4800.
I'm trying to design a calculator in Excel where I can show these differences and also show the differences between SAP and PVGIS figures. On a 4kW where I am- PVGIS is 1036kW more than SAP.
What are you guys using for the performance estimates? I been using PCLIP software which is a complete PV customer management system but its starting to suck balls and isn't flexible.
I mindful that I have to keep within the MCS guidance on not giving any preference over any particular estimation system (SAP/PVGIS)
