Hi,
I need a bit of guidance on filling out PV commissioning forms.
There doesn't seem to be any help on filling out the forms on line and my PV course didn't give us any in depth advice on filling out these forms.
My first query is on the Indiviual installation commissioning form (SSEG) that his required by the DNO.

On SSEG details it asks for manufactuer and model type-Do they want just info on the inverter or Panels and off gen meter as well. What serial numbers do they require?

Maximum Peak short cct Current (A)-Is this refering to the array or the AC side of install?

I would be grateful if anyone could help me out on this these issues.

Nicky

Your DNO should give guidelines to follow on SSEG. It may pay to contact them or search their website to ascertain their requirements. We're under EDF who are a shower of S**t!

On the Appendix 3 commissioning form you just want the manufacturer, model and serial number of the inverter.

Max peak short cct current refers to the DC side, ie. the Isc value for you modules (x number of strings).

No probs. I do have a sneaking suspicion that you could probably write a load of gibberish on the forms though, and the DNO would be none the wiser!

I know what you mean about writhing anything on the forms.
I don't think these DNO's Have a clue.
I have one more querie:
When you register a job with MCS they ask for meter serial number and reading.
I assume they are refering to the off Gen meter and not the mains meter.
Cheers
Nicky
