Our solar system was installed 8 years ago. We had no problems until EON replaced our smart meter, and our electricity and gas meters with it. Since then, our PV generation meter has gone mad. Running all day and all night, to the extent that British Gas refused to pay our FIT, because of the absurd readings, until we sort out the issue somehow. I contacted the installer company 3 times about this, but they said they never heard of a problem like this. Asked British Gas to come have a look, but they said they don't deal with solar systems, only pay FIT payments. We contacted EON, but they keep ignoring our emails. Could anyone explain what's might be going on, and how to fix it?
