Got a retractable pool cover, run by two motors either side slide back.
Motors are fed by a PV panel. Very simple set up. However I am limited to these installs.
Would it be a good educated guess to say because neither motors are working there would be a fault with the PV panel?
Both motors and batteries inside casing look fine on inspection and testing there was no voltage to the battery on either side.
I just want to make double check before I order a new panel invade there is something I've missed.

Check PV connections, and then for output from the PV panel. Are the motors DC or AC?? ...If AC then check inverter!! Never assume anything mate, when you can conduct tests, to determine one way or the other...lol!!

Engineer 54 you and me are going to be best mates. I have a feeling :D
It's DC. I've checked the output to the batteries and nothing.
I checked voltage between live and earth on the battery and didn't get anything.
My next theory if to falsify the supply. Ie replace the panel with a 24v battery and see if the motors run than.
