PV Sol - 4000TL inverter

Hi there

I'm new to this forum. I have just installed PV Sol to plan a 4kw domestic job we have in the pipeline and the SMA 4000TL inverter is not showing in the list of inverters, the only option i have is 3000 or 3300TL. I have updated all of the lists so am at a loss of why the 4000 is not showing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any help appreciated to avoid having to call the helpline.

Can you expand a little more on what exactly you are doing/have done -

PV*SOL by default only shows "matching" and "borderline cases" in the inverter selection. For example inverters or a combination of inverters that are within +/- 20% of the calculated capacity of the array. If you check the "not suitable" box all inverter choices should be shown. But before that check what value PVSOL has in the "Resulting PV Array Output", most likely it isn't close to the 4kWp you intended. For example, an incorrect number/type of panels were selected. It's also possible to prevent selection of an inverter because a particular string combination is selected, eg too many or too few in series (over or under voltage) for particular inverters.
