Pv.sol pro 4.5

Hi

I downloaded the above free demo some months ago and have several times had a mess about on it but it seems preety useless without parting with the cash.
Can it be used for anything in its free state? and no I shall not be moving to Germany.

Also does anyone here have the full version and if so what do you think of it?

I use PV SOL 4.0 gridcon, and TBH i love it, i dont use all the features, but its really useful for finding better matching equipment to maximise the yields, i can print of designs and justify to the customer why xyz system is better. Also it give more accurate yields than SAP. It is expensive"ish" but i would not want to be without it now.

Did you sus the use of it yourself or pay to get training?

Like most things worked it out for myself. The training is a bit of a rip IMHO

I would strongly recommend the PV SOL Expert package. Takes a lot of time to get to grips with but it's very handy for getting accurate calculations.
