PV & Wind G83 Combination

We've been asked to quote for pv at a house (single phase) in a very rural area that already has a 2.5kwp wind turbine. I'm assuming that unless we put a very small pv system on we're going to have to talk to the DNO about this. Our DNO is quite helpful but has anyone any info that would be useful for me to know about before I talk to them on Monday??

G83/2 You have to fill in the form regardless, the second SSEG at a site needs G83/2 permission.

Maybe, depends on the DNO - SSE, for example, are saying they will charge £250 plus VAT just for the assessment. The correct term is G83/1-1 Stage 2. See http://energynetworks.squarespace.com/storage/DGCG G83 S2.pdf
