PVI 3.6 - uneven strings?

can some one confirm if i can install say 10 on one string and 6 on another like you can with the SB 4000TL? no time to prenotify so need an inverter below 3.68w.

Two things to consider:

Maximum input (kWp) per array might be limited to 2kWp.

Also the preferred input/startup voltage for the inverter; six panels might have a low-ish Voc around 180V - perhaps dropping as low as 160V on hot days.

What you're effectively asking is, "Does the Power One inverter have two MPP tracker". And the answer is yes.

You need to be careful with the voltages - both the upper limit (unlikely to be an issue with a 10/6 configuration) and the lower limit. The lower limit of the voltage can be adjusted if required.
