Hi,
I moved into a property 2 years ago with this alarm installed. I know the master code.

A few weeks ago I started getting battery warnings, and then constant panel beeping. At the time I looked for the engineer code in case a reset was needed after self-replacement of the batteries, but couldn't find it (default didn't work)
Ultimately the beeping couldn't be canceled, so I powered down the entire system (the external bell only lasting for <5 minutes)
I now have a choice to a) ignore the alarm b) use the original installer for maint c) Self-manage the alarm (it's bell only) d) find an installer that will do a one-off service and reset code
I'm inclined to go for c. My issue is figuring out how to (ideally) reset the engineer code or Possibly factory reset

Any tips on this panel? I don't see any nvram reset in the manual. I've read about a possible 2 finger reset once logged in with master, but not found details.

It's set to 1111 or 2222 as default. Can't remember which. If its not either of them it has been changed.

@planetf1 ,

Where abouts in the UK are you? There could well be a local member who can assist.

If you know who installed the alarm originally, it may be worth getting in touch with them.

When I install an Enforcer I get it setup so I can manage it from home using the Pyronix software... whoever installed it may have done the same and may be able to make configuration edits for you. There is a means of resetting the various user codes, but as best as I can tell you need to be logged into the engineering menu for this to work which is obviously no good. It may be worth giving Pyronix technical support a call, you may need the system ID which I think you can get from the master manager menu.

Thanks. I do a lot more for the site than just change a few alarm batterys. EICRs, PAT, numerous little jobs. Never away from the place.
