I've seen loads of posts searching the forum on this subject, but without actually applying to a governing body and actually paying the fees, i'm struggling to understand exactly what is required in order to gain MCS. As I am not wanting to commit financially yet, I am looking at gathering as much info as possible, and even maybe completing some of the tasks prior to applying so that IF I decide to take the plunge into the world of papertrails and hoop jumping, I am better prepared from the out set.I have found an online document referencing to ISO9001 and similar, and was wondering if anyone who has already been through the process could advise me on any similarities or differences compared to MCS? I have seen ISO9001 refered to as being an equivelent on searching this site so hopefully I am not a million miles off.I'm not sure if I can link directly to the site, so if anybody has a spare 15 mins they could lend me I would be extremely grateful.EXAMPLE QUALITY MANUALThanks in advanceP.S I'm not interested in easyMCS or similar for a minute as time is not an issue but money is so i'd sooner do it the hard way and save a few quid!
