im a time served electrican, with a leval 6 fetec award which i got in ireland, and im trying to find out the equlvelant would be in the uk. if anyone here has the same or knows where i could find out, it would be great thanks

ok ive checked it out on this site http://www.cmit.ie/forms/Comparing Qualifications in the UK.pdf and it looks like its the same as a NVQ leval 4 certificate, leval 4 diploma, would that be what yous would have there in the uk?

most of the nvq`s given out here are for electricians are level 3. l4 would be the HNC

any idea where i could get it varified phil? its definitaly a leval 4 in the uk going by the chart. maybe our apprentiship is a little different, we do a total of 1 year full time in collage and 3 years on site, broken up into 7 phases over the 4 years.
