Qualifications limited experience.

Hi all,
how's work for everyone at the moment? Are there any opportunities to work for perhaps larger companies to learn the practical side of the trade? Got all the quals incl. testing and level 3 but only limited experience (the odd re-wire with an electrician). Desperate to get into the trade. More than happy to work weekends and i dont want paying.Currently a plumber/gas fitter doing 1st,2nd fix so not completely green! Thanks for reading.

When you say testing and level three you need to be more specific? How did you get your quals

City and guilds 2330 level 3 just getting head round the testing for the practical. Not done 2391, 2392 doing next month. Not done nvq's just college stuff, hence sketchy on certain things!

So your currently studying 2330 level3 and your doing 2392. Ok. You need to get in with an employer to be fair. It's tough ATM . Let everyone know where you are based and someone on here may be able to help

Thank you Electricalserv. Im in the west midlands area and tavellings not a problem. Will b sending cv's off to varying companies but hearing work is really scarse at the moment.
