Qualifications to be a Sparks mate?

Hi what would i require to be a Sparks mate and what would the money be like?

This is what i've got so far....

NVQ level 2
C&G 2230 level 2
Passed my 17th Ed EXAM tonight and doing my C&G 2230 level 3 in Sept

There is no required quals for sparks mate and yu could comfortably do the job now, I would recommend doing so if you can afford it (labourers wage) as when yu finish level 3 you could theoretically go it alone

Even with no experience?

I think so because he has the NVQ?, so he would have on site experience if he has that, at least 1 year,maybe 2

The NVQ2 is done in a class room, wey it was when i did it...
