Qualifications to install door automation

Does anybody know is there a statutory requirement to have a specific minimum accreditation to be able to install door automation in a public building?
And I dont mean electrical qualifications, I mean qualifications to install door automation.:walkman:

Not that I'm aware of no.
However the person ordering the work may stipulate certain qualifications.

there isnt any in all honestly i work in the door industry, industrial doors, dock levellers and auto doors and most firms now are getting their fitters to install the wiring to these

should be qualified sparks doing these but if you see someone wiring a door these days chances are hes not qaulified what gets me on new sites most foremans just let them get on with it aslong as they got a cscs instead of ecs
