switched on

Hi i have a 50 m run from the dno intake in the garage to the house. I have decided to run a 3 core armoured and install a switch fuse at the garage end. The only trouble is though a 35mm armoured is a bitch to terminate in a single phase board. Anyone come across this problem just wandering as i did a 25mm earth in a single phase board and that only just fit. Thanks in advance

make off the armour in a Spreader box mounted tight to your switch fuse having removed the gland plate from the bottom with 35mm you could use an off cut of 6inch steel trunking with a slot cut and some Plexion between and cut slightly smaller than the slot

then out of the spreader box what size would i bring out?? as i thought you had to use the same csa all the way throughout and its the the termination into the earth bar that i am going to have the most trouble with and into the main switch. Thanks for your advice i really appreciate it

strip the armour and gland as per normal(bw or Cw) leave the tails long enough to go straight to the switch fuse and a 25mm flying bond from the banjo/fryingpan to the switch fuse If its an ME Exel type theres a nut n bolt you could put a crimp on
