We have an Aqualisa Aquastream shower, fed from a hotwater tank behind the wall. It's started to give a problem, the shower is still working but it does not give the pressure it used to give, there is no sound whereas before there was a buzz/hum when the shower was turned on. There is both hot and cold water, but something is wrong. We are in a very hard water area.

Any clues people?

As mentioned by two of the guys here and I concur it sounds as if the pump has stopped working. It could be a fuse in the FCU or it could be the fact the Isolating switch for the pump supply is off, have you had a proper investigation? or are you just pumping us for replies for a laugh?

Thank you for replies. I checked with Aqualisa who thought it might be the pump, they offer a 'special offer' which is calculated to rip you off. £300 for replacement pump and fitting. The pump is £89 but from them £150
and fitting, which takes half an hour or so they tell me - £150. Or, because they really like returning customers I can get a really special deal and get a whole new one (which normally costs £399 for £490 with Free fitting!
Such wonderful support from Aqualisa, they obviously have the customers wallet heart in mind.
I would be remiss if i did not explain their justification, "we (the manufacture) sell at RRP whereas our suppliers can discount them down " Obviously they are not thinking of themselves when they pocket the profits, they are merely doing this out of altruistic motives.
I remember when a modicum of integrity was expected of companies - these days are long gone

bet there's a forum member in london that could sort it out without ripping you off.

Before i got all hot and sweaty, regarding a manufacturers charge structure (especially minus a shower),i would first get a definitive diagnosis,on the fault.

It could be a cylinder swap,in which case, the pump will look small potatoes. :)

Thanks to all in this thread for their genuine advice. Yes, I am sure it is not certain that it actually is the pump but anyway Aqualisa would replace it even if it was NOT the problem and of course charge even more if it were not. They did not actually confirm that it would be the cause, only ask me to pay for its replacement and fitting.
As I say, I do know an honest plumber and he will get the job.

Again many thanks for the genuine replies
