Just been speaking to a friend and he's told me that he pays so much a month to belong to this website and they send him jobs in the local area ? What could these sites be and what are your experiences of them ?

All these people are doing is pandering to the cowboy customer that just wants it cheap cheap , we all know where it ends with guys cutting corners and lashing up jobs to get the price as low as you can , cowboy outfit pandering to the cowboy customer , tell these sort of customers that you will be carrying out the necessary pre testing and quote according to your results and they don't want to know ,,,,
and just shows how out of touch the NIC is as well...when even after the recent events surrounding Part P they:
a) put up their yearly fees...then offer the lame excuse `its the first time in 5 years fees have gone up`
b) climb into bed with the likes of `rated people`...then attempt to make a feature of the event with cheezy emails
The thing that amazes me is that they stress the name Rated and Trust , when all it takes is to pay a couple of quid to quote for the job , how stupid could the NIC be to get involved with such a cowboy outfit , TOTAL SCAMMERS thats all they are , worse even than the scamming agencies that live off your blood , they all lie out of their backsides ..
