question recently in exam,what would be the correct route for a supply cable into building

a/lay on top of bt cable
b/go through a metal pipe
c/place by steam pipes
d/ cut through the fabric of a building with a clear run for cable and leave hole unrepaired


does any one know the answer to this question cheers.

Laying on top of BT cable contavenes separation
Placing by Steam pipes definitly a no-no for a number of reasons ~ apart from probably burning yourself as you install.
Cutting through fabric of building will have to occur but the hole has to be repaired.
So through a metal pipe it has to be, but wait, is this a pipe we are installing (conduit) or one that already exists. If it already exists what kind of pipe is it? Electrical? Sewerage? Boiler vent?

Hmmm once again exam question setter ambiguity:mad:
