Hello all

I dont normally get involved with this side of things but the chap who does is away and its left to me. Filling out the G83 and want to clarify the 'Information to be Enclosed'

Curcruit diagram is fine.

SSEG Test report
&
Schedule of protection settings

Can somebody tell me if the information in this link http://www.inbalance-energy.co.uk/datasheets_downloads/SunnyBoy/sb1100-1700_g83_certificate.pdf is correct to satisfy the information needed?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

yes as long as that related to your inverter model, if you have an 4000TL for example then you would need the matching G83 cert from SMA like the one in your link. Also you need to send in the Electrical Certificate for the circuit to the inverter.

To recap:
G83 cert for inverter
Electrical certificate
Schematic drawing
Actual G83 form.

Hope this helps.

Really? NPG always ask for certs, im with napit and use the minor works/single circuit certificate, never been asked for DC.

We've dealt with a few different DNOs and we've only ever sent DC test forms - not once an EIC. To be honest, I'd doubt they ever look at them.

lol, thats what i was thinking, but in the past when i missed it out NPG do write back and request it makes sense i guess. WTH!
