Not a sparky, I am a High Risk Health & Safety Consultant (ATEX and Explosives) and Certified Machinery Safety Expert (yes that is a thing!). I spend much of my life in high risk industrial environments where things tend to go bang with drastic consequences as well as being an EHS Auditor. I do get to see the places that most companies don't want viewing, including their electrical installations. I know what I don't know which is often when I need the help of an electrician, often a CompEx one. Happy to share thoughts and experiences

Got any pictures of things being blown up, by any chance?

I generally try and stop things blowing up, it's what I am paid to do. Most of my sites are ListX, OSA or I have to sign NDAs and often they don't like me taking pictures of anything. Most of the explosives sites prohibit the use of anything on site, bar a pencil and pad, you can't even wear your own clothes (including underwear !!)
Static and grounding are the bane of my life.
