Hi all.
I'm 40, but a relative newcomer to the electrical trade, having retrained at the age of 35 after a strange and varied career. Did my 2330 levels 2/3 full time at college followed by the NVQ 3... and am now back at the same college teaching and assessing the same courses, which is a bit odd.
Still learning new things myself every week and continue to do expand my qualifications too - recently did the 17th update course and got my 2391 next month. Hoping to get back onto the tools when work picks up again. Teaching is interesting and occasionally rewarding (and of course i've been glad of the opportunity in the current climate!) but as you all know the pay doesn't compare well to what you can earn on site.
I'm based in Manchester. Um... and my favourite colour is green. I think that's enough for now.
