Quick Introduction

Hi all, I'm a property developer and I recently had my long term electrician retire suddenly, which is sad and frustrating at the same time. I wish him well, but I find myself in a position at times. I'm not an electrician to trade but my dad was an Electrical and Electronics engineer and I used to help him during school holidays for pin money running cables, terminating etc (easy stuff). Wind forward a few years and I still do the easy stuff plus a bit more when I can and get it signed off if necessary. I have found it difficult to replace my electrician - a combination of unreliability and suspect experience/knowledge. I am embarking on a remodel of our family home - most things are straightforward, but I have encountered things that I need to find solutions/info for online since I'm short of a reliable tradesman. Hopefully, I'll find some answers here.... be gentle with me....MM
