Does Price per Point include 2nd fix accessories, ie Sockets, Switch Face Plates (if nothing out of the ordinary - white plastic, but not Crystal Chandeliers!)...

Always price for standard white accessories, any fancy fittings priced as extra if you supply, and a top up price for fitting fancy lights as well

As Des, i always price for standard white accessories etc. anything else is discussed with customer beforehand. ian

Thanks! Sorry if I'm not certain to that...if I was to say (pluck a figure for now) £50 per point this includes all 1st fix along with white plastic/pendants 2nd fix accessories...or price for accessories separately?
Cheers Guys!

Well can you install a socket 1st fix, second fix and an accessory for £50?
Price per point is exactly that. A price for a complete point, so whatever figure you come up with should include the accessory.
Personally I allow a labour charge of 1-2 hours (depending on whether new build, rewire or occupied rewire) and then add the complete material cost to that.

Example:
New build double socket
1 hour of labour, say £25
Materials, back box, oval, cable, socket front and fixings, say £12

Total point cost = £37

(Made up figures)
