Quick Question

Hi im doing a college course and ive been told to find this out and i was wondering if i could have some help.

The question is about a Milling Machine and ive gotta think of faults.

The Question is " The Milling Machine will not operate when the Guard Switch is closed"

Switch defective and not completing the circuit IMO.

Emergency stop button has been pressed and not reset.

You need to know more about the milling machine, circuit, interlocks, guarding etc.
Is it CNC? PLC? Conventional? Does it have several motors, could a motor O/L have tripped?
