i always use a key switch as the isolator for a PIR but another way is to install a fused spur at high level in the room to isolate the lighting circuit and associated controls such as PIR or fan etc

You could always just put in a 1 way switch at high level.

No because the circuit ocpd (mcb deffo) can be deem'd a point of isolation.
Having said that I put in key switches for local isolation to each room (toilets)

When installing any kind of outside light is it always asvised to have a point of isolation rather than just using the MCB. Iv always put in a switch. Cheers Robo
