Hi all,

I use an invoicing program called sliqtools. I'm very pleased with it and the other day I was talking to a friend who also uses it, due to my recommending it. The conversation turned to quotes and he told me he used it for submitting quotes.
I have to say I've never used it for this, since I usually do my quotes in a word document or as part of my estimating spreadsheet. Got me wondering, does anyone else submit their quotes/estimates in this way?

I use "Office " to set up my own templates etc. I know of SLIQ and its good if you cannot be bothered to download all the stuff thats for free on the net etc !

And as for verbal quotes..... recipe for disaster in most cases

I use Intuit Quickbooks Pro 2008

It does estimates, invoices, aged debt, and all your suppliers too, and best of all it'll give you the details to hand to your accountant when you need to do your tax return!

NB: it also emails estimates and invoices and I'm finding that more and more of my clients like this.

Aged debts..... bloody hell i could do without having any of those . Must be a nightmare for some to be paid.
