when testing a lighting circuitthat consists of Switched live, neutral, cpc and permenant live (for emergency lights in the row) which would you note as your R1+R2 test.

I tested both the lives and neutral and cpc for continuity and then I did an r1+r2 test on both sw live and permenant live and recorded both on the sheet. as this is what the onsite tricians wanted but wondered which is the correct R1+R2???

thanks, Ross

Def off topic here, but Julian C, nice logo!! Where d'you get the idea? Lucky we don't own the copyright!! LOL:D

:D Cheers. Yours ain't too bad either!

JCDC is my trading name (mine and the wife's initials - I do the electrics, she's a plumber). We decided on the name a year or so ago and this is one of many logos we mucked about with. Seemed an obvious choice. It might well grace the side of my van..... if I ever get a van:D

You would have thought they'd have a switch to flick on and off to engage an override. Not on each PIR but an actual light switch
