Hi

I've done a fuse board change on a piece of private land that has two static caravans on it. Main fuse board feeds to the two vans, two external plugs, and a wash house.

All hunkdory, except the wash house is fed by a two wire swa to the submain in the house, and staked down there. As I am only changing the main board (so all sub mains aren't included) I have just tested the feeds. As the wash house feed hasn't got an earth in the cable (the sheath is earthed), do I just do an R1R2 test using the sheath (although it is not being used as a CPC), or put it down as a limitation?

I'd be interested in your views.

Thanks all.

Yeah i agree probally worth putting a comment on the test sheet about the stake beign there aswell
