i tested a ring final circuit today. the installation is steel conduit and 2.5mm conductors L-N-E

i got 0.56 for r1 , 0.54 for rn and 0.21 for r2

is the steel conduit naking my resistance lower, id say without a doubt but somone keeps saying they should all be the same,,, thanks trev

Just think what the csa of the conduit is compared to a 2.5 or 1.5 copper conductor.

Yes it will be, just think every switch and socket plate will probably be connected to the steel back via a fly lead.

it is and i walked outa work, cause i couldnt work out somone wire a lighting circuit with fans and sensors on, done me head in, boss said dont worry we gonna rewire it, see ya in morning.. and what a day

does line and neutral need to be in same conduit, i would say yes but what about switchwires and the like
