Just a few things to clear up.
1.what is the diffrence on the certificates from r2 to R2
2.where it says details of departures from bs7671 what would go in there??
3.shedule of additional records??
4. How would you know the maximun demand?
cheers

Just a few things to clear up.
1.what is the diffrence on the certificates from r2 to R2. r2 is end/end of the cpc on a RFC. R2 is the value as in R1+R2
2.where it says details of departures from bs7671 what would go in there?? any departures
3.shedule of additional records??not sure what you mean here. is it additional circuits?
4. How would you know the maximun demand? guess. or take the sum of the MCB ratings added up and divide by 2.
cheers

not the best answers but close.

A departure is an intended non-compliance with the Regulations, that offers the same degree of safety as would be achieved by compliance with the Regulations.
An example of which, would be where an installation does not have a CPC on a lighting circuit, and rather than re-wire the installation, class II fittings and accessories are used, the circuit is RCD protected and a warning lable is placed at the CU.

About time someone else agreed with me that there is a difference between r2 & R2. (allowing for the difficulty of using subscripts on the forum)

Halleluja.

Te,
Perhaps it could be described that R2 is the resistance of the cpc in a radial circuit between the circuit protective device at the circuit origin and the electrically extreme end of the radial circuit, or the equivalent in a ring final circuit, which is not actually measured directly unless there is a spur connected to the circuit.

Rest are closer than some others offer IMHO!
