I want to re-use some cables that used to form a ring final socket circuit.
Due to building work, a chunk was cut out of the (redundant) ring, leaving 2 radials in 2.5.mm cable. The 2 ends were obviously disconnected from the 32a mcb, but the cables were left on place.
I now want to use those cables to feed sockets - on both 'legs'
Can I replace the mcb with a 20 amp version and use this as a radial circuit that is fed from the mid-point of the run? Or would this count as 2 radials on the same mcb, and is this allowed?

Yes it is allowed. It doesn’t matter where branches in a radial circuit branches off.
