need some help please

I am looking to have some fitted wardrobes fitted, however I have a double socket outlet in the way.

is it possible to convert this to a single outlet on one side while blanking off the other side.

I have been looking around to find such an item but can't find one anywhere.

can somebody please point me in the right direction.

thanks in advance

Rob

moving would be an option however was after a cost effective way of doing it and require one side of the outlet to power a tv. the wardrobe installer who claimed to of been an electrician in the past said the best option was to have a blanking plate on one side and a single socket on the other side.

I personally have never seen such an item however if they do exist it would be nice to know
