Rated to 63 amp?

I have to put a new sub board in, the problem i have is the installation that i need to get a feed from is 20 years old. My question is, the fork connectors that come from the busbar to the mcb, is it rated to take 63a?

I thought it was a bit small, i dont know where i can get a new connector from. any idea?

Cant turn it off due to being a tele comms installation (its DC)

They look like 30 amp forks, wont burn but you will get maybe 500 milli-volts drop across the forks at 60 amp

Perhaps you could obtain some comb busbar.
Cut it to size to fit the MCB, and then drill and bolt it to the existing busbar

Spin - that's quite an ask if he can't de-energise the original bar!! But agreed that's what I'd look at doing as well.

The MCB’s are rated at 10 & 16A. The fork connections don’t carry 63A. don’t worry about it.

I think the issue is that he needs to fit/swap in a 63A MCB

think OP wants to fit a 63A breaker, so one of those forks would be undersized.

Without seeing a 63A MCB it’s impossible to say. Common sense would say a larger fork will be fitted.

Are you saying that the above MCB board is a DC supplied board??

I hope not, those MCBs as far as my recollection, aren't DC rated by MG!!
