May I ask why you've got 2 x RCBO's on the same circuit?

first rcbo is in the board the second is in a seperate square D enclosure in a bedroom. the enclosure and rcbos were the materials ordered for the job. thinking to swap the rcbo at main board for a 6 a mcb see if that cures the tripping

You said you where altering wiring, then you say no wiring has been altered there is no need for 2 rcbo's in series so why it's there I dnt knw. If the first RCD is tripping out it there will be a fault beyond that!

the wiring was altered before second rcbo was installed. and didnt trip. only after the enclosure was added the tripping occured
