RCD for bathroom

got a bathroom, already has a fused spur feeding light cct. the board has no rcd protection whatsoever................customer requires a mirror light and new light fitting................can i change the FCU in place for an rcd FCU or would u reccomend fitting an rcbo to CU for complete upstairs cct?
On minor works, how would this be recorded?

We swap the FCU quite often, In the Minor Works, Overcurrent Device 3amp 1362, and put in the details of the RCD.

cool, thanks, where would u suggest i test rcd? from light or direct on rcd fcu?

You should always test at the RCD or as close as possible, that also applies to RCD's in consumer units.

just have not done it this way before, ie using a rcd fcu on a light cct that is!.......... thanks for ur input, much appreciated.
