I am testing a site which has a ring main on a mcb but has an rcd socket. Do I need to put the rcd results on my cert?

Sorry, I should have said to make a note in the comments box stating that it is just for that socket outlet, or you could just add an extra row on the sheet for that socket, as the whole circuit is not RCD protected.

But yes, you test in the normal way, 1/2, X1, X5 at 0 and 180 degrees if it is a 30mA or less rcd used for additional protection.

You may need to list each one seperately, as each one needs to be tested and noted. you cannot add the value for the circuit unfortunately, as said the circuit itself is not RCD protected, just each outlet is.

It would help if they were individually named/numbered.

I forgot to add the functional test at the end too (the push button).

Are you using sampling ?, or is it a 100% test ?

You only need to test the circuit (RFC) once though for your (R1+R2), Zs, IR tests, and then note each outlet as belonging to that circuit, like I say it would help if each outlet was uniquely identifiable, ie. numbered or similar, the aim is to be as unambiguous as possible to what is and isn't tested.

As per above from Dave. Swap to a 63A outlet and problem goes away. What gets plugged into it is not part of an inspection.
