Hi All This Question came up in conversation today
Can you use a RCD rated at 230 V 30 ma to cover a 110 v 30ma circuit
Will it still trip in the recomended time

I don't think so.

Site transformers usually work on a phase to phase 110v if I remember rightly so you don't get L - N in the usual sense.
I would have thought they're not compatible.

I await correction

its normaly RCD protectiong the 230/400v side of transformer not the 110v side I have seen 110-230v transformer with RCD but the RCD was on the outgoing 230v side
