Doing some testing for some minor works, the 30mA RCD at 1x tripped in 9ms, I was quite impressed by this, think my previous record was 17ms.
 
Possibly no point other than sharing this information ..... :)

To add to this eosoteric thread, I have found, in my extensive RCD research (!), that the older, larger, usually used as a main Isolator type RCDS are far and away the winners.

4 or 5 mS. Cool huh.

Don't make stuff propah liiiiike any more , lad.

But that was in imperial time Spartykus,metric time is a lot slower :D
