Existing, approx 10 years old.existing or new install?
The route of the cable might be the decider... (<50mm below surface)
I'm upgrading the distribution, and wondered if any sparks had any issues with migrating existing storage heaters over to Rcbos? So is this for an EICR?
Personally, i'd like any big lump of easily touched metal to be rcd protected
If you want any serious replies to this "question", we'll need more information.RCDs and storage heaters, yes or no?
Large lumps of should be earthed metal. No excuse for ANYTHING in a domestic property not to be protected by a RCD in the third decade of the 21st century.Storage heaters do not want or need rcbos, the cables less than >50mm in the walls is a C3 so there is no need to upgrade
