Hello Chaps,

Just seeing if anyone sends a receipt to the customer once paid.

Have done a few times when requested, but otherwise dont normally.

Just one more thing to the endless stack of paperwork:(

I must admit I always gave the customer a receipt, I would always leave it a week or so, and then forward one with a compliment slip with thanks, and assuring them that the installation would be under warrenty for the year of the receipt date, and if they had any further enquiries or needs not to hesitate to contact us.

Thats what i do more or less. I give them a receipt on the day so they have evidence of payment, then send out computer generated invoice with ref number and enclose all relevant paperwork like certs etc.

I always do send an invoice receipt , its got all my details on phone number etc less likly to loose that than a buisness card ,send along as the other guys have said with the certs and warrenty etc
