Hi all ! I have recessed lights, like in the photo attached, but I struggle to understand how these ceiling recessed lights unscrew/unmount in order to be able to replace the light bulbs ?

I prefer asking first before breaking something, and can't find existing advise for this type of recessed lights. Am I supposed to use a specific tool for this ? Or is it resisting because the borders of the plastic ring have been painted on/plastered on ?

It is a house built in 2017/2018, and I have a good 40+ recessed lights of this type, of which 5 need their light bulbs changing...

Thanks very much !

You might want to run a sharp Stanley blade round between the ceiling and the bezel first, as they do look like they may have been painted over/around. They should then either twist or pull off without too much effort (hopefully).

I'd be surprised if they were CFL lights put in as late as 2017, but then new builds often surprise me! Maybe the builder got a job lot cheap....
