Just seeing if anyone can reccomend some lights which can recessed into a patio that is being built...

Just for decorative use to go around the edge as marker.

Think maybe need something that comes with a sleeve that gets mounted in first and I'll just copex away from it to IP rated JB, and stick a draw wire in ready.

Done a load of decking lights before, but never patio..

So any options would be good please.... :)

If you are after a GU10 recessed ground light have a look at these. I fitted some recently to decking and they were supplied with a sleeve for ground mount. I did not need this as they screwed straight in to the decking. The are loop in-loop out but only one side is prewired and the glands are 16mm, not 20mm as I hoped.

Thats the sort of thing thank u.... sorry can you just explain a bit about the loop in/out and prewired bit....

Will I just need to run my in and out cables into the sleeve and then these wire straight into the light itself before it sits in the sleeve (if so must have fair bit of room in the sleeve to dress the 2 cables back). if so where does the prewired bit go ? Sorry if I sound a bit thick:eek: Normally with deck lights they have there own pre-wired tail and this runs back to a jb..?

Thanks Sy

From what I can remember you could just leave two cables for loop in -loop out in the sleeve, then fit the light later. I would leave about 2-3" of flex for this, their is a fair amount of room for termination.
