anybody got one or reccomend one to purchase?
have been doing a couple of jobs where i think one would have been very time saving!

Do you mind if I ask when you'd use it? Ive seen them going cheap now and again, but have never really been able to justify getting one.

I work with a builder (extensions and renovations type guy) who got one of the Aldi ones, apparently for the price their tools are quite good, German manufactured and all that.....

Hi,
I've the same question as Rocker. What do you use one for as I also considered one but could not find justification.

Cheers,
Lofty.

GMC out of toolstation catalogue cheap which is fine cos i dont use it all that often but is useful on occassions, floorboards, plaster board, lathe & plaster ceilings and studs, also used stripping old copper piping out of my sis house and somes joists that needed replaced

Never found a use for one they are a bit messy and don't give a brilliant finish, maybe for more commercial or industrial situations for cutting conduits and tray or cable ladder

Definitely a no for tray and ladder IMO. Have used them in the past for cutting unistrut sher it was already fixed but could'nt get a hacksaw in. Also good for pipe. For tray, trunking and ladder i use grinder, jigsaw and hacksaw. In that order

Can't link at the mo, will post one up tomorrow unless some kind person gets there first. It's a 14.4v small circular saw with a metal cutting blade, lots of guys in the duct fitting trade i know them as zingers for short. You can get a really good cut with very little burring best used on light tray or trunking.

This is the one

I use the Millwaukee 12v Inspection camera and radio which are both excellent. Fancied the little saw but didn't really know if I would use it.
