recommend me some reading about electricity supplier gear

hi, I would like to know some more about the DNO stuff that is buried under the streets.
cable sizes, how do they connect them, what kind of switchgear is used etc.


some good website? or a book to get for cheap on fleabay?

I think you're probably looking for a Layman's type book, which probably doesn't exist.
They'll all be heavy duty reference texts, like the one above, for Chartered Design Engineers and the like.
Happy to be proved wrong though.
