I am 30 years old and looking to change career to working as an electrician but i don't know what course i should take. I would like to get some experience working on new build building sites/refurbs as an electrician's mate and then become gaining a qualification as an electrician in college while i'm employed by a company. But i believe you need to have experience and qualifications to get work as a mate on building sites so i don't know what the best way is to go about getting the experience and qualifications. Can anyone give me some advice on what i should do? Thanks.
