Looking for any recommendations or experience with anti-theft or theft deterrant devices.

I hope that the market doesn't require these products in the future, but we have some clients that ask the question, especially small industrial sites and the farming community.

Actully use the anti theft devices supplied by the manufacturer. Most kit is secured using Allan head sockets, and therefore dead easy to make tamper proof. Most utilise an interference fit insert that prevents the insertion of a tool to remove, and you therefore have to grind a slot in the bolt if you are ever going to remove the kit.......noisy and not very conducive to passive theft. Others have mentioned drilling and fitting alarm cable through the module frames, these can be tied into existing CCTV/Security systems that have event relays.

Why not use a TL inverter and DON'T earth the array? :willy_nilly: (LOL)

A little knowledge can be dangerous......(in the wrong hands)........

Thanks for the responses. Some rather less useful than others.
Gaddafi's troops are probably looking for some new work, so I may just recommend their services to the client.
Most will probably be granted asylum in the UK anyway!
