We are accredited and assessed annually by both NICEIC Domestic Installer scheme and Which? Trusted Traders. These assessments include confirming our technical ability is up to date, previous works meet the necessary requirements, insurances are correct and valid, and that we meet the requirements for consumer protection.

As a time served, City & Guilds qualified electrician, We offer a wealth of experience, common sense and idea’s for indoor and outdoor lighting projects, new kitchens, extensions and much more. Our experience also enables us to successfully resolve circuit faults, both inside and outside the property. Many faults are usually down to poor terminations, faulty appliances, failing cable insulation, water ingress or vermin damage.
Redwood Electrical Services are accredited by the NICEIC domestic Installer scheme, we are also in the Electrical Safety Register. Our customers benefit from this accreditation as all work that is signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations is provided with a 6 year warranty against defective work by the scheme holders. All other works are provided with 2 year guarantee against defective workmanship by Redwood Electrical Services.
Redwood Electrical Services are assessed every year by the NICEIC, who ensure that all projects and processes meet their requirements, including complaints procedures and to ensure that we carry the minimum levels of indemnity insurance, currently ÂŁ2m. Redwood electrical Services has insurance cover for ÂŁ5m. Most importantly the NICEIC make sure that the work carried out by Redwood Electrical Services consistently meets the requirements of BS7671, known as the Electrical Regulations.
What is part P? Part P of the Building Regulation is concerned with the correct installation or modification of electrical circuits in areas of the property deemed to pose the greatest risk, such as the installation of new fuse boards, new circuits, or electrics (lighting, underfloor heating, electric showers etc) in areas with a large capacity of water. These include rooms with a bath or shower, saunas, hot tubs and swimming pools.
