Regs on disused cables in DBs

Can anyone tell me where the regs are in the BS7671 on disused cables in DBs. I know that they should be labelled, dated and grounded to earth but just want to read what the regs say about this.

There arent any regs specifically on unused cables that I am aware of.

I was told you shouldnt leave unused cables in connectors or loose in a DB. That they should now be labelled, dated and grounded to the MET for obvious safety reasons. Sounds like good practice to me but I just cant find where it is in the regs book

That would be good practice, but there is no specific requirement in BS7671 for this to be done.
