Have been asked to carry out the following works:

  • Install new consumer unit
  • Bonding to Both gas and Water
  • Change all sockets/spurs/switches/pendants - 35 points in total
  • Install 7 Downighters
  • Install smoke and carbon monoxide alarms - 4 in total
  • Remove old heating spurs and plaster over
  • Tidy up satelite cables
  • Full peridoic inspection and sign off
  • Pat test any appliances needed

How much do you think this jobs worth? Was thinking £400 for the consumer unit changed and bonding alone, don't do alot of pricing but want to give a decent price not too pricey though as i could get some continuous work.

Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers

6down lights supply and fit 160 plus 400 for fuseboard ,4smoke alarm 240 plus 100 for pir cz it easy just to copy you test reading from your electrical cert,do the rest for nothing £900 i think this is still cheap but good for a day or 2days work

the sockets and lights you are replacing, 32 points, say £5 each accessory and £10 for 1/2 hour labour each. taht's £480, add CU and bonding £400. then £200 for faults snags and testing. £1080, round it down to £975 so it's just below the magic grand.
